Frequently asked questions
Do you deliver outside Kampala?
Yes! We deliver nationwide. Free delivery in Kampala. Delivery to Entebbe, Jinja, Mbarara, and other major towns available at a fee.
How do I know which printer is right for my business?
Consider three factors: (1) Monthly print volume - how many pages do you print? (2) Color or black & white? (3) Budget. For 500-2,000 pages/month, a desktop printer works. For 2,000-10,000 pages, get a small office copier. Over 10,000 pages needs a commercial machine. We offer free consultations - call us and we'll help you calculate your exact needs.
What's the difference between a printer and a copier/MFP?
A printer only prints from a computer. A copier (also called MFP - Multi-Function Printer) can print, copy, scan, and often fax. It has a document feeder, larger paper capacity, and a control panel for standalone copying. For offices, we recommend MFPs - they're more versatile and cost-effective.
What's better: laser or inkjet for office use?
For offices printing 200+ pages/month, laser is almost always better. Lower cost per page, faster speeds, no ink drying out. Inkjet is only better for photo printing or very low volume (under 100 pages/month). We strongly recommend laser due to reliability and cost-effectiveness.
How long will a printer last?
Commercial printers typically last 5-7 years with proper maintenance. Desktop printers last 3-5 years. The key is monthly volume - don't exceed the machine's rated capacity. A printer rated for 10,000 pages/month will die quickly if you print 25,000. Buy based on your actual volume plus 30% headroom for growth.
